On April 10, 2026, the service tube of the Kozjak Tunnel was successfully broken through, with a length of 2,527 meters.

The Kozjak Tunnel is part of the connecting road between the Vučevica interchange on the A1 highway and the D8 state road in Kaštel Kambelovcu. In this project, Karabit is participating as the blasting contractor for the main contractor, the Chinese company CRBC (China Road and Bridge Corporation) as part of the investment by Hrvatske ceste.
